About Our Venue
Welcome to the historic Buffalo Theatre in Pawnee, Oklahoma! Originally opened as a movie theatre in 1921, it has slowly and steadily been brought back to life by Dr. Benes and friends. On August 10th, 2021 The Buffalo Theatre embarked on a new era under new ownership. Randi Hedges Thompson of Red Windmill Productions LLC became the new proprietor of The Buffalo Theatre with the goal of being the center of arts and entertainment for our region.
A Variety of Events
The Buffalo Theatre is host for many varieties of entertainment from films, to discussions, murder mystery dinners, concerts, private party space rentals, and much more. A perfect venue for large meetings or hosting your own show. The Buffalo Theatre is equipped with a house PA system and projector.

We are available for private events. please email regarding pricing and rental agreement inclusions.
